(in three easy steps)
Read enrollment guidelines (opens PDF document)
Step
1: Review Courses Offered
You are
encouraged to review the course offerings for the upcoming semester
prior to attempting to enroll. For your convenience OSU provides two
options to review course listings.
Class
Schedules are available for download. You can download a complete
PDF version of the classes offered the upcoming semesters.
You can
also view available classes using the SIS
web system. Just click the "Available Courses" icon.
Step
2: Contact your advisor.
You should
consult with your graduate faculty advisor for information about required
courses, course sequencing, and other information you will need to make
correct course choices. She or he should give approval for your course
selections prior to enrollment.
First
semester students must first obtain their advisors clearance through
the student information system prior to attempting to enroll.
If you
have completed a plan of study, you should verify that the courses are
listed on it. You should consult with your advisor any time you deviate
from courses listed on the plan of study. The ultimate responsibility
for enrolling in and completing degree requirements rests with you.
Step
3: Get enrolled
There
are three ways graduate students can enroll:
- Through
the Web. Graduate students may enroll using the SIS web system.
Students need to have a web browser on their computer and go to this
web address: http://prodosu.okstate.edu.
The system gives students access to their records via computer.
- Students
should first meet with their advisor to determine their class schedule
for the semester.
- First
semester students, you must obtain an advisor clearance through
the computer system.
- Special
students without an advisor can ask the Graduate College to grant
advisor clearances.
- Students
who have no academic or financial holds can use the SIS system.
- Students
will need their student ID number and PIN number to access the system. Note: The initial PIN number is set to student's date of birth.
Students may change their PIN through the SIS system.
- In Person. Graduate students may enroll in person in Stillwater or in Tulsa.
In Stillwater, you can go to the Sectioning
