Meeting and Memberships
Membership Eligibility
All graduate and professional students at Oklahoma State University are members of the Graduate and Professional Student Government Association (GPSGA). However, only students in academic units with active GPSGA representation are eligible for travel grants. GPSGA requires active participation from academic units to ensure graduate and professional students across campus are represented.
Representation is maintained through participation in General Assembly meetings by designated representatives or liaisons. Contact GPSGA for access to the Canvas community.
General Assembly Meetings
All General Assembly Meetings are held in-person. All graduate students are welcome in the meetings. An online option will ONLY be provided for Tulsa and OKC representatives/liaisons.

Membership types To maintain eligibility for funding, representatives and liaisons must attend at least 75% of GPSGA meetings. If a member cannot attend, they may send a proxy.
Representatives
Each academic unit selects representatives to serve in GPSGA. Representatives may only represent their academic unit. Academic units typically need two representatives to remain eligible.
Liaisons
Each student organization selects liaisons to serve in GPSGA. Liaisons may only represent their student organization. Student organization only need one liaison to remain eligible.
