Please note the important academic and graduation-related deadlines for graduate students below. Dates are listed in chronological order. Students must meet all applicable deadlines.
Fall 2026

| Last day for doctoral students to complete requirements for admission to doctoral candidacy and have the Admission to Doctoral Candidacy form approved by the dean of the Graduate College. Approval by this date allows reduced continuous enrollment (at least two credit hours) and full-time status for the Fall 2026 term. | Monday, August 3 |

| Last day to review the Thesis & Dissertation Guide in Roundup. | Friday, October 9 |
| Last day to submit a revised Plan of Study (if needed). | Friday, October 16 |
Last day to file a Graduation Application* with the Office of the Registrar. The November 2 deadline is the last day to file for your name to appear in the Fall Commencement Book. | Monday, November 2 |
| Last day to submit the Admission to Doctoral Candidacy form for Spring 2027 Graduation. | Friday, November 6 |
