Graduate Ambassadors
What Is A Graduate College Ambassador?
A Graduate College Ambassador is an honorable volunteer student leader who represents the Graduate College at a variety of campus events and outreach programs. Future Graduate Ambassadors are passionate about OSU, excited about their graduate student experience and eager to share their insight with future graduate students. Ambassadors are selected across as many disciplines and degrees as possible.

Responsibilities of Ambassadors
- Commit to a minimum of six hours each semester helping with various Graduate College events
- Must commit to a minimum of one year of service as an ambassador
- Interact with prospective graduate students, families, alumni, donors, and large groups
- Represent the Graduate College with professionalism for the following events:
- Luncheons
- Career and Graduate Studies Fairs
- Graduate Education Week
- Commencement
- Three Minute Competitions (3MC, 3MP, 3MT)
- Department/College Open Houses
How to Become an Ambassador A limited number of Ambassadors will be selected and invited to an orientation session.
Qualifications
- Good academic standing
- 3.0GPA or above
- Adequate progress toward a degree
Nomination Process
Departments may submit nominations (no self-nominations) by sending an email to gradcareersuccess@okstate.edu with the following information:
- Put "Ambassador" in the subject line
- Include the student's name, CWID, and email address in the body.
- Attach the student's statement.
