Session 1 (July 5):  Prepare for the Academic Job Search 

• Gain the inside scoop on the academic job market, CV best practices, de-mystify the job announcement, review resources and tools available for your search, and hear from a recent hiring committee panel to get all your questions answered.

Session 2 (July 12): Make your Statement! 

• Crafting effective teaching, research, and diversity statements can elevate your application and speaks to your experiences and offers a way to showcase your potential fit for the position. This session provides an overview to each of the three statements, tips for crafting yours, and shares an inside perspective for how each are used within the academic job market.

Session 3 (July 19): Master the Academic Job Interview 

• Navigate academic interviews from zoom to in-person, multi-day formats including understanding interview schedules, accommodations and negotiating your start up package.

Session 4 (July 26): Work It!

• Bring your academic job packet materials (CV, letter of intent, research, teaching, and diversity statements) to further develop and refine.  Learn from a network of peers, faculty, and career development experts to put the final polish on your job packet.
