GPSGA supports awards, research opportunities, and funding programs that celebrate academic excellence, leadership, service, and student involvement across the university.
Annual Awards & Poster Gala
Each spring, GPSGA recognizes outstanding graduate students, faculty, and graduate teaching assistants through the Phoenix Awards. The event also includes the annual Poster Gala and competition, where students showcase their research and compete for top awards.
Funding Opportunities
GPSGA offers funding opportunities to support graduate student research, professional development, and campus engagement. Eligible students, organizations, and academic departments with active GPSGA representation can apply for individual grants, organization funding, and event co-sponsorship support throughout the academic year
Travel Awards & Research Grants
Travel assistance is given to students who are presenting research at a conference within Oklahoma, the US, or internationally. The research materials grant is offered as a reimbursement for students who apply, as funds are available
Co-Sponsorships & Group Funds
Group fund applications open each spring semester and are meant to cover the organizations activity cost the following school year. Co-sponsorship fund applications open each fall and spring semester and are intended to assist with events hosted and sponsored by the group. Groups who hold events that are open to the campus community are encouraged to share these details with GPSGA so they can be promoted across campus.
