Neuroscience is a popular interest of undergraduate and graduate students, and an
interdisciplinary research theme at universities across the nation. The momentum of
neuroscience funding/programs is not surprising, as the future of society rests on
brain health. However, the brain and its functions, which drive such progress remain
an underexplored frontier with vast potential for basic and applied research.
The interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Neuroscience program will prepare graduate
students, foster an environment for collaborative research for faculty and students,
and build a common language across disciplines.
