McNair Graduate Research Fellows are outstanding undergraduate McNair Research Scholars who are accepted into a doctoral or master’s program at Oklahoma State University. The McNair Graduate Research Fellowship is designed to encourage underrepresented student populations to complete a Ph.D. or masters degree. The fellowship is offered to outstanding first-generation, low-income, or minority college graduates with the intent of increasing the pool of underrepresented students pursuing advanced training and establishing role models for future minority students. Fellows have the opportunity to serve as a mentor to undergraduate McNair Scholars at Oklahoma State University.

Fellows not maintaining good academic standing or making expected progress to earning their degree will be dismissed from the program.
