- Recognition during the Graduate College Awards Ceremony
The award is presented during Graduate Education Month at the annual Graduate College and Graduate and Professional Student Government Association (GPSGA) Awards Ceremony.

Eligibility
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Must have served as a Graduate Coordinator or support staff for at least two years prior to the nomination deadline.
- Nominees must not have received this award within the past ten years.

Nomination Process
- Nominations must be submitted by the Graduate Coordinator of the academic program.
- Each program is limited to one nomination submission.
All nomination materials must be combined into one PDF file and submitted by email to: grad.dean@okstate.edu

Required Nomination Materials
The nomination packet must include:
- Letter of nomination from a currently enrolled graduate student
- Letter of support from the department head
- A letter of support from at least one additional graduate student familiar with the nominee’s contributions
These letters should describe the nominee’s contributions to graduate education and student success.

Suggested Evaluation Criteria
Students preparing nominations are encouraged to consider the nominee’s:
- Advocacy for graduate students and graduate education
- Accessibility and availability to graduate students
- Ability to serve as a liaison between graduate students, faculty advisors, and the Graduate College
- Effectiveness in helping students understand graduate policies and procedures
- Ability to prevent and resolve academic or administrative issues
- Administrative effectiveness and organizational skills
- Communication and collaboration with faculty and other graduate program leaders

Important Dates
Nominations must be submitted by the Graduate Coordinator of the academic program. Each academic program may submit one nomination per award cycle.
