Environmental science is an interdisciplinary academic field that integrates physical,
biological, social and information sciences to the study of the environment, and the
solution of environmental problems.
Interdisciplinary Studies
The Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies is for students who wish to design
their own degree by taking courses in several disciplines.
Interdisciplinary Toxicology
Toxicology is the study of the adverse effects of chemicals on living systems.
Neuroscience
OSU's Graduate Certificate in Neuroscience program allows students to explore the
depth and breadth of the brain, from its molecular and cellular bases, all the way
up through neural circuits and behavior.
Public Health
Training public health professionals to improve health and wellbeing of rural and
underserved populations
Non-Degree Seeking
A person may be admitted to the Graduate College as a non degree-seeking student if
he or she does not have immediate plans to become a degree candidate
