What are the benefits of being in the G-RISE program?

 

G-RISE trainees are eligible for:

• A 12-month stipend at the NIH funding level ($25,836/yr). The stipend may be renewable up to 3 years;
• A tuition waiver;
• A portion of their fees and out-of-pocket health insurance costs will be covered;
• Travel support ($1,000/yr);
• Reimbursement for childcare costs ($2,500/yr)
• Career development opportunities; and
• Membership in an NIH-supported biomedical training cohort
